A Week in Weather

These scenes seem to sum up what this past week has felt like in our neck of the woods. We started the week with still a lot of snow and ice and ended it with sunshine and warm temperatures! It was truly lovely  and the fresh air and blue skies so welcoming! I am not sure if it is here to stay, but we are certainly enjoying the sunshine!

Wishing everyone a joyous week ahead!

Thanks for visiting,
Erin

  1. What a refreshing sight Erin!!! Your snow shots are stunning but as I moved through your post and saw your sweet kiddo outside, that stunning blue sky and those beautiful tulips I began to get sooo excited for spring! It will be a while before we have any of this glorious weather up here in Chicago but boy I am glad someone is getting it!! Your scenes are inspiring and beautiful! A wonderful week to you!!! 2. Yep, that's a WV February for ya!
I'm not sure how the spring and summer are going to go, this was one heck of a winter. While we weren't here for the Dericho 2 summers ago, I know that it sure seemed to kick in a lot of the "old timers'" instincts about bad weather being around in cycles. This winter reminds me of '93-'94.
And it's supposed to be cold again this week--I say while looking at snow on the ground this morning, after our weekend of 60's.
Suppose all we can do is take in the sunshine when we can, and dance in the rain when it comes. :-)
(and that'll help roll in the 'Mud Season'... http://awesomesontheroad.blogspot.com/2014/02/spring-fever.html)
