Frozen Surroundings

The garden is quiet and frozen these days; it has a white, clean, and glittery charm to it.  Pepper, Fern, and Radar (our ducks) are enjoying the water. Their favorite pool gets smaller every day, freezing over with the cold temperatures. Our chickens continue to lay many eggs for us. Even Radar, the white duck, lays an egg which I gather every morning.
There is a gentle stillness to our surroundings brought on from the cold temperatures and snow. Next month, we have winter aconite, crocuses, and snowdrops to look forward to!

I hope you enjoyed our frozen world.

Thanks for visiting,
Erin

    1. Thank you for visiting my blog!! It has been very cold here. We are enjoying it as we get to do some iceskating. Our winters are usually mild, so it is nice to have a good freeze to skate. :)

  5. Your photos are very beautiful, but I am so glad that the winters I experience aren't like this. I am very much a summer girl.
