Pony Beach Camping

Hello Everyone!
How is your summer going? Mine is going by way too quickly! I guess time flies when you are having fun! One of the highlights of our summer days is our annual trip to Assateague Island in Maryland.  It is a long drive, but well worth our efforts. We camp in the National Park area, which gives us easy access to our own little private beach...of course, we love sharing it with the ponies of Assateague... Come a long for a bit of a photo tour...

Life is good at the beach!!

The bay is also beautiful to explore.... One of our favorite activities is crabbing!

We had such a wonderful week! It is a magical vacation place that we look forward to every summer!!

Thanks for visiting,

  2. What a wonderful place - looks perfect for camping. Beautiful pictures of the horses - are they owned by anyone or are they native. Looks like you had a lot of fun - a great way to spend the summer.

    1. Elaine, thanks for all your sweet comments! I love visiting your blog as your words are always so beautiful and your garden inspiring! The horses are "wild" ponies of assateague...they are somewhat managed by the park service.

  3. Erin, what spectacular photos of these beautiful creatures! My summer has entirely flown by as well. I woke up this morning thinking about the friends that we swore we'd have over this summer and didn't.
